A pioneer of internet reporting with over 20 years experience in the international press & broadcast media, in another life Iain carved out a reputation as one of the UK's most accomplished technology writers. Winner of a raft of major industry awards, his work has appeared in most of the UK's major publications including The Guardian, Sunday Times, Independent, and Telegraph.
Serving for many years as the award-winning Sunday Herald's Technology Editor, he has twice been named UK Internet Journalist of the Year, is a regular expert on BBC Radio, and continues to work for a variety of international newspapers and technical journals.
Over the course of his career Iain has been responsible for a number of media firsts: He built the first Scottish newspaper website for the Big Issue and in 1999 created the first cover mounted CD-Rom (including MP3 music tracks & digital video) ever to appear on a mainstream news publication.
